Gratitude is a beautiful place to start, but sometimes in the middle of a full season, it's hard to stay there. You thank God for the family, for the goodness, and yet something in you is still running. Still holding. Still trying to make sure nothing falls apart.
In Psalm 91, we're invited to dwell in God's shelter. To stop running and rest in His shadow. This isn't a passive retreat. It's an active decision to trust that the One who gave you this family is also the One holding it together. You don't have to.
Being present isn't about doing less. It's about releasing the grip on what was never yours to control, and letting gratitude become more than words. Letting it become rest.
